AIKEN, S.C. – On Friday, Sept. 18, the USC Aiken women's basketball team and softball team helped with a campus-wide cleanup.
"I was glad our team was able to help out the campus community and pick trash up on our campus," head women's basketball coach
Mark Miller stated. "I believe it is important that our student-athletes are able to give back. I'm proud of our team."
"Campus clean up was an opportunity for our team to give back to the community that they belong to here at USC Aiken," head softball coach
Jaclin Poole said. "While we strive to be the best possible athletes we can be, we also strive to be servant leaders, leading by example and putting others before ourselves. I am thankful for the various clubs here on campus that allow us these opportunities to serve others, to give back and for personal growth."
The teams, along with several others on campus, spent two hours giving back while helping the USC Aiken look great.
