Education City GC, Doha, Qatar – Former University of South Carolina Aiken golf standout Brandon Robinson-Thompson made the cut at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

The former two-time All-American and PBC Golfer of the Year shot two-under par through the first 36 holes of competition.

He shot one-over par, 72, on the first round before carding three-under par, 68, for the second round.

Robinson-Thompson was tied for 48^th at the prestigious event.

While at USC Aiken, Robinson-Thompson was a two-time first-team all-league performer. As a senior, his 64 was tied for the lowest round by a USC Aiken golfer in school history. That same season, his 72.08 stroke average was good enough for sixth best in the USC Aiken record book. Robinson-Thompson wrapped up his two-year career with the best scoring average in school history at 72.41 in 68 rounds of competition.
