AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball team will begin postseason play with a PBC Quarterfinal contest at Columbus State on Wednesday, March 4.
The PBC announced the entire tournament bracket Sunday afternoon. Top-seeded Lander hosts No. 8 Young Harris. The winner squares off against either No. 4 Columbus State or No. 5 USC Aiken. North Georgia garnered the No. 2 seed and hosts No. 7 Augusta. The winner of that game will play No. 3 Clayton State or No. 6 Francis Marion in the semifinals.
The Pacers completed the regular season with a 15-13 ledger, including a 10-10 conference mark. USC Aiken bested the top two seeds of the tournament, defeating Lander 75-55 on Senior Day after knocking off North Georgia 55-51.
After the first round at the top four seeds, the highest seed remaining will host the rest of the tournament.
