The USC Aiken Athletic Communications staff recently spoke with Billie Murphy, who is the administrative assistant. Click the interview as she discussed her journey to USC Aiken.

Murphy, who has been a valuable asset to the department and USC Aiken throughout her time on campus, is set to retire at the end of December. 

She has been an important liaison for the department with countless others across campus and has represented athletics by volunteering and working with so many committees, community service projects and student support groups. 

Murphy helped Pacer Athletics develop and grow after the move to the Convocation Center and since that time has been the face of athletics to all who have visited USC Aiken Athletics in the past 12 years. She is the first person that the guests, recruits, families, students and fans see on a visit to athletics and is well known to all Pacers.
