NORMAN, Okla. – The University of South Carolina Aiken golf team recently picked up an academic award from the GCAA.

To be eligible for the GCAA Outstanding Team Academic honors, a college of university must submit GPA's for each player on their official squad list for the academic year. Teams must have over a 3.0 GPA to earn the accolade.

Throughout Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, NJCAA D1 and NJCAA DII, 193 schools submitted GPA's of 3.0 or above.

The Pacers were the lone PBC school to make the list.
