AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken golf team is set for the upcoming NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships, which will take place May 20-24 at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W. Va.
There are 20 teams and eight individuals in the field. The teams include Southern New Hampshire, Bentley and Wilmington from the Atlantic/East regional, Lindenwood, Missouri St.-Louis, Ferris State, Arkansas Tech, Trevecca Nazarene and Grand Valley State from the Central/Midwest regional, Lynn, West Florida, Barry, Florida Southern, USC Aiken, Lincoln Memorial and Saint Leo from the South/Southeast Regional and Dixie State, UC San Diego, Cal State Monterey Bay and Sonoma State from the South Central/West regional.

Dan Sheehan,
Thomas Trowbridge,
George Eubank and
Björn Rosengren.
Lindvall took seventh at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional while Sheehan placed 23
rd, helping the team to a fifth-place finish to earn a spot in the upcoming NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships.
Lindvall leads the team this season with a 72.9 stroke average. He has a pair of top-five finishes and another top-10 effort. Lindvall has shot par or better 11 times on the year, including a season-low 66.
Sheehan has a 73.4 stroke average this season. He has four top-10 efforts on the year and has shot par or better seven times. Sheehan's best round on the season was a 69.
Eubank and Trowbridge each carry a 74.4 stroke average. Eubank has one top-10 effort on the year and shot par or better eight times. Trowbridge is looking for his first top-10 finish of his career and has tallied par or better five times. Trowbridge's best collegiate round was a 66.
Rosengren, who has played in six events, has a 77.8 stroke average and has a low round of 73 on the year. The round came at last week's NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional Championship.
The Pacers won their last national championship at The Resort at Glade Springs on May 19, 2006.
