Leading 3-1 in the sixth, Daum singled and moved to second on a groundout. She raced home when Price smacked a base hit to center field.

Converse would plate a run in the bottom of the seventh, but Daum picked up a base hit and fired it to Kathleen St. Peter, who tagged out the runner trying to go to third base for the final out of the game.
