GREENWOOD, S.C. – The No. 11 University of South Carolina Aiken men's tennis team picked up a 4-3 victory at No. 8 Lander Tuesday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 11-1 on the season and 4-1 in league play. The Bearcats fall to 11-3 overall and 3-1 against conference foes.

Steve Dahm's team secured the doubles point by claiming the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches. Top-seeded
Salvador Bandeira and
Antonio Sabugueiro notched a 6-4 victory.
Vicente Andrades and
Tales Silva accounted for a 6-3 win at the No. 2 slot, giving the team a 1-0 edge.
Bandeira won his singles match by a 6-4, 6-4 count at the No. 2 position. Andrades claimed a 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 4 while
Valentin Mounoto dit Larroque won at No. 6 by a score of 0-6, 6-2, 6-4.
It marked the team's first win over Lander since Feb. 15, 2009.
The Pacers return to action Saturday when they host Flagler at 1 p.m.
