TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken baseball team lost an 11-3 game at No. 7 North Greenville Wednesday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 16-10 on the season while the Crusaders improve to 22-6.

Kenny Thomas' team had three student-athletes register a pair of hits.
Jackson Hannon,
Sean McQuillan and
Alex Mills all had two hits. Mills accounted for two doubles while Hannon and
Philip Watcher each had one.
Conner Durden registered a solo round-tripper in the contest.
Trailing 7-0 after the first frame, Durden launched a solo shot high over the right field wall on a 1-2 pitch in the second stanza. Mills followed him up with a double down the left field line before hustling to third on a groundout.
Blake Jenkins lifted a deep fly ball to left field that allowed Mills to race home, closing the gap to 7-2.
USC Aiken threatened in the third as McQuillan and
Trey Polewski posted back-to-back singles to start things off. However, the Pacers were unable to bring them home.
In the fourth, Mills doubled to right field on an 0-1 pitch. Three batters later, Hannon singled through the left side of the infield, plating Mills for a 7-3 score. Polewski was hit by a pitch, loading the bases, but a pop-up ended the inning.
Despite getting runners on base throughout the rest of the game, USC Aiken was unable to pull any closer in the 11-3 contest.
Cameron Nolet struck out a pair of Crusaders.
Lindsey Robinson Jr., had three strikeouts in two scoreless frames while
Henry Cartrett also came out of the bullpen and picked up a pair of outs, including one via the strikeout.
The Pacers return to action Friday when they play at Columbus State. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m.
