AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball team lost a hard-fought contest to North Georgia, 64-48.
The Pacers are now 12-10 on the year and 8-8 in the PBC while the Nighthawks improve to 17-4 overall and 12-3 against conference competition.

Kwajelin Farrar's team-high 17 points and game-best 13 rebounds for a double-double.
Kyrie' Chandler contributed 11 points in the contest.
Alex Canady tallied eight points, four rebounds and three assists.
Tied at 6-6 in the first frame, Chandler buried a three-ball with 3:14 to go. Leading 9-7,
Kanna Suzuki found the bottom of the net from downtown off a pass from
Melyk Taouil for a 12-7 advantage. USC Aiken entered the second stanza up by three at 12-9.
The Pacers pushed the margin to five when Farrar took a pass from Canady for an inside shot at the 8:52 mark of the quarter. The home squad kept the visitors at bay for much of the stanza as Taouil's lay-up made it 20-16 with 4:50 to play. The teams traded buckets and USC Aiken stayed up by four when Canady hit a shot on the break. However, the Nighthawks led 30-22 at halftime.
Miller's team took a 33-32 lead when Canady converted a fast-break lay-up at the 7:31 mark of the third quarter, but the Nighthawks embarked on a 13-1 run.
USC Aiken continued to battle, cutting it to 54-45 on a jumper by Farrar with 2:53 to play in the game. However, the visitors managed to hit a pair of three-point shots over the next minute to secure the victory.
For the game, USC Aiken hit 32.2 percent of its shots from the floor. The team held a 35-34 advantage on the glass. Miller's team dished out 13 assists on 19 field goals. USC Aiken registered seven second-chance points while not giving up a single second-chance point to the visitors.
