AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's soccer team lost a 4-1 decision at Mars Hill Wednesday.
The Pacers are now 3-7 on the year.

Kenneth Kalek played the entire match between the pipes. He stopped a pair of shots.
For the contest, USC Aiken posted 19 shots compared to 10 by MHU. The Pacers accounted for seven corner kicks while limiting the Lions to three.

Giuseppe Cimino all registered shots on goal for the visitors. Box led the way with five total shots while
Abelardo Rodriguez garnered four shots.
Trailing 3-0 early in the second half, Box blasted an attempt that found the back of the net at the 51:13 mark. However, the Lions countered with a goal eight minutes later.
USC Aiken continued to push forward throughout the remainder of the match. The squad had multiple chances to slice into the deficit, including a pair of attempts from Box in the 87
th minute. However, the visitors were unable to place another ball in the back of the net.
