Pacers Are No. 5 In NABC National Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball team is No. 5 in the latest NABC Rankings, which were released Tuesday afternoon.

The Pacers (12-0) were No. 6 in the last poll. Since the last rankings, head coach Mark Vanderslice's team defeated Columbus State 108-81 in the Convocation Center.

The 12-0 start is the program's best since moving to Division II.

PBC foe UNC Pembroke entered the rankings at No. 25.

Bellarmine collected all 16 first-place votes and sits atop the national rankings. Northwest Missouri State and Indiana (Pa.) complete the top three. Nova Southeastern moved up to No. 4. Vanderslice's team picked up 336 total points in the rankings.

The Pacers return to action Wednesday, Jan. 9, when they travel to Francis Marion at 7:30 p.m. Live stats and video will be available at PacerSports.com.
