PARKVILLE, Mo. – University of South Carolina Aiken senior guard Doniel Dean has been named to the Bevo Francis Award Top 100 Watch List, Small College Basketball announced on Tuesday.

The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest season across NCAA Divisions II and II, NAIA Divisions I and II, USCAA Divisions I and II and NCCAA Divisions I and II.

Dean has played in all 14 games for the Pacers, helping lead the team to a 13-1 mark and a No. 7 national ranking. His 16.4 points per game are third-best on the team. Dean is connecting on 46.2 percent of his shots from the floor, including 36.0 percent from downtown. At the charity stripe, Dean nets 82.5 percent of his attempts.

He has dished out 52 assists and has registered 30 steals to go along with nine blocks.

Dean scored a season-high 22 points in the win over North Greenville. He canned a season-best four three-point shots in the home win over Columbus State. Dean snagged a season-high nine rebounds in the victory against the Cougars and distributed eight assists in the win over Elizabeth City State.
