ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The University of South Carolina Aiken baseball team overcame an early 1-0 deficit en route to a decisive 8-3 victory at Flagler Friday evening.
The Pacers are now 30-16 overall, including 21-7 in league play.

Daulton Weeks belted out a single before swiping second.
Brian Parreira ripped a single to right field, knotting the game at 1-1. Two batters later,
Conner Durden launched a two-run shot over the left center field wall for a 3-1 edge.
Philip Watcher posted a lead-off double down the left field line in the fourth and came around to score when
Chandler Rogers registered a base knock to left for a 4-1 lead.
Holding a 4-2 edge in the seventh, USC Aiken put the game out of reach.
Rogers drew a lead-off walk and hustled to third on a
Jose Bonilla double. A wild pitch pushed each runner up a base, making it 5-2. After a walk to Weeks, Parreira garnered a sacrifice fly for a 6-2 lead. Two batters later, Weeks stole second. He hustled home on a Durden base hit to center field. An error allowed Durden to score two batters later for an 8-2 score.
For the game, Durden led the way with a pair of hits, two runs scored and three RBI. Bonilla also registered two hits. Weeks accounted for three walks and crossed home twice.
Mitch Spence was solid once again, tallying eight strikeouts. He gave up two runs on seven hits and did not allow a walk.
Daniel Wiggins posted a scoreless frame while
Jon Yarbrough closed things out.
