GAFFNEY, S.C. – The No. 19 University of South Carolina Aiken men's tennis team fought off two match points before posting a 5-4 win at No. 32 Limestone Tuesday afternoon.
The Pacers are now 14-5 on the season.

Steve Dahm's team jumped out to a 2-1 edge after doubles action and nearly maintained a 3-0 lead. Third-seeded
Alvaro Garcia Gil and
Wojciech Adamek cruised to an 8-0 victory.
Vicente Andrades and
Antonio Sabugueiro garnered an 8-6 win at the No. 2 spot.
Tales Silva and
Alex Sklizovic battled closely, but lost an 8-7 contest at the No. 1 slot.
USC Aiken made it 3-1 after Sabugueiro rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at the No. 2 singles spot.
After the Saints pulled within one, Garcia Gil continued his strong season with a 7-6, 6-3 win at No. 4.
Limestone evened the match with wins at No. 5 and No. 1, leaving the outcome in the hands of newcomer
Liam Wiggins.
After winning the first set 6-3, Wiggins lost the second frame 6-3 at No. 6. He trailed the third set 5-3 and fought off two match points before storming back for the 7-5 win.
The Pacers return to action tomorrow when they host Erskine at 3 p.m.
