AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's tennis team netted a 7-2 win over rival Augusta Tuesday afternoon.
The No. 15 Pacers improve to 9-4 on the season.

Steve Dahm's team opened a 2-1 edge in doubles action. Top-seeded
Vicente Andrades and
Antonio Sabugueiro cruised to an 8-1 win. Third-seeded
Alvaro Garcia Gil and
Alex Sklizovic netted an 8-5 victory.
In singles action, Garcia Gil was the first one to finish, posting a 6-4, 6-3 win at the No. 3 slot. Second-seeded Sabugueiro totaled a 6-2, 6-2 victory. USC Aiken clinched the win after Andrades posted a 6-2, 7-6 win at No. 1.
Liam Wiggins got on the board with a victory, securing a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 4.
Valentin Mounoto dit Larroque accounted for a 6-3, 6-2 victory at the No. 6 position.
The Pacers return to action Friday when they travel to Columbus State for a match at 2:30 p.m.
