AIKEN, S.C. – The No. 15 University of South Carolina Aiken men's tennis team lost an 8-1 decision to No. 2 Lander Friday evening.

The Pacers are now 7-4 on the season and 1-3 in league play.

Head coach Steve Dahm's team fell behind 3-0 in doubles action. Top-seeded Vicente Andrades and Antonio Sabugueiro put up a solid fight, but lost an 8-6 decision.

Andrades would bounce back in singles action, picking up a 6-3, 6-3 victory at the No. 2 spot. Liam Wiggins dropped a three-set match, 2-6, 6-4, 3-10.

The Pacers return to action Sunday when they host Morehouse at 1 p.m.
