AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken baseball team earned a come-from-behind 7-5 walk-off win over Francis Marion Friday evening in its first PBC game of the year.
The Pacers are now 7-4 overall and 1-0 in league play.

Kenny Thomas' team jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first.
Jose Bonilla was hit by a pitch and hustled to third on a
Philip Watcher double to left. With one away,
Conner Durden doubled home both runners for a 2-0 edge. Two batters later,
Brian Parreira's deep shot to right center made it 3-0.
The Patriots pulled within one with a pair of runs in the fourth. However, Thomas' squad pushed the margin back to two runs in the bottom of the fifth when Durden took a 1-2 pitch and sent it sailing over the wall to make it 4-2.
FMU knotted the score in the eighth with a pair of runs and added the go-ahead run in the ninth, giving the visitors a 5-4 advantage.
Bonilla singled to lead things off in the bottom of the ninth. After Durden walked with two down,
Daulton Weeks launched a three-run shot for the game-winner on a 2-2 pitch.
Jon Yarbrough picked up the win after pitching the ninth.
Zach Rafuse tossed five innings of two-run ball. He struck out seven in the USC Aiken victory.
For the game, Durden and Weeks each drove in three runs. Watcher, Durden and Parreira all had two hits while Bonilla trotted home twice.
The Pacers return to action tomorrow for the second game of the series beginning at 3 p.m. The final game of the series has been moved to noon on Sunday. Live stats and video will be available at PacerSports.com.
