FLORENCE, S.C. – The No. 15 University of South Carolina Aiken baseball team lost a 12-2 decision to Georgia College Thursday afternoon in the second round of the PBC Tournament.
The Pacers fall to 39-12 on the season. The loss snapped the team's 10-game winning streak.

Kenny Thomas' team jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a run in the second stanza. With one away,
Jonathan Banks smacked a two-strike pitch down the first base line for a double.
Daulton Weeks registered a base hit, pushing Banks to third.
Skylar Mercado lifted a deep fly ball to left field for the sacrifice and a 1-0 edge.
The Bobcats tied it in the bottom of the frame, but USC Aiken made it 2-1 in the top of the third inning.
Jose Bonilla singled and swiped second.
Mitchell Price blasted a 1-2 pitch to center field for the one-run margin.
GC tied it in the bottom of the second and took the lead with a run in the third.
Trailing 7-2 in the top of the sixth, USC Aiken recorded a pair of base runners, but neither was able to cross home.
Nile Goings reached on an error and a walk to
Brian Parreira put runners on first and second. However, a strikeout and fielder's choice ended the threat.
Down 9-2 in the top of the seventh, Bonilla hit the first pitch he saw with two down for a single.
Luke Westerberg's base hit put runners on first and second, but a deep fly ball ended the inning. As the designated home team plated three runs in the bottom of the seventh, the game was called due to the PBC Tournament mercy rule.
Bonilla tallied two of the team's seven hits in the contest.
