The Pacers are now 21-3 on the season, including 7-1 in league play. The Saints are 16-3 overall and 6-1 against conference foes.

The loss snapped USC Aiken's 21-match winning streak, which marked the longest such streak in school history.

Alicia Hines hit .300 with seven kills. Emily Teelon posted 46 assists and 15 digs.

Defensively, Rebecca Martinez accounted for a match-best 32 digs. Natalie Perrault added 15 while the team totaled 103.

After dropping the first set, head coach Glenn Cox's team rattled off seven of the first eight points of the second frame, with the last via an ace from Smith. USC Aiken pushed its advantage to 14-8 on a kill from Hines. Leading 20-18, an error by the visitors and two straight kills from Smith made it a five-point contest. Tied at 19-19 in the third frame, the visitors managed to reel off six of the next seven points for the 2-1 edge.

The fourth stanza was a back-and-forth affair. Smith gave the home team a 20-18 lead, but the Saints evened the contest. The teams were tied at 23-23 but Flagler managed to come away with the final two points.

Prior to the match, seniors Julia Forster, Alicia Hines, Lauren Howard and Emily Teelon were honored for their hard work and dedication.
