MORROW, Ga. – The University of South Carolina Aiken women's basketball team lost a 76-61 contest at Clayton State Monday evening in a Peach Belt Conference contest.
The Pacers fall to 4-6 on the year, including an 0-2 mark against conference competition. The Lakers are now 9-2 overall and 1-1 in league play.

Mark Miller's team was led by rookie
Emily Waters' team-best 13 points on six-of-13 shooting from the field. She also snagged five rebounds in 22 minutes of action.
Jasmine Carter contributed 11 markers while
Kwajelin Farrar and
Emry Tsitouris accounted for 10 points apiece. Tsitouris pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds for a double-double. It marked the 12
th double-double effort by Tsitouris for her career, pushing her into a tie for second most since the 2000-01 campaign.
Kate Duff added seven points while
Melyk Taouil notched three steals.
Miller's squad connected on 22-of-73 shots from the floor (30.1 percent), including a two-of-14 effort from the charity stripe (14.3 percent). USC Aiken was nearly perfect from the charity stripe, canning 15-of-16 (93.8 percent). The 93.8 percentage is the ninth-best effort from the foul line since the 2000-01 season (with a minimum of 10 attempts).
The team pulled down 44 rebounds, including 23 on the offensive end. The 23 offensive boards led to 28 second-chance points.
The home team led the entire contest.
