AIKEN, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball team is at the top of multiple statistical categories in the Peach Belt Conference and is also among the nation's best in Division II.
The squad tops the league in blocked shots per game (6.0), defensive rebounds per game (35), offensive rebounds per game (19.0) and rebound margin (19.0).
The Pacers rank fourth nationally in rebound margin, eighth in defensive rebounds per game, ninth in fewest turnovers, 13
th in blocked shots per game and 21
st in scoring margin (22.0).
Individually,
Mark Matthews leads Division II in defensive rebounds per game (17) and rebounds per game (23). He sits atop the PBC in offensive rebounds per game (6.0), which is fifth nationally.
