Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga.--Armstrong Atlantic State (12-7, 3-0 PBC) held USC Aiken (7-9, 2-2 PBC) to a .000 hitting percentage en route to a 3-1 win over the Lady Pacers in a Peach Belt Conference volleyball showdown on Friday evening at the ARC. Game scores were 30-23, 30-19, 28-30, and 30-20. The win marked the 16th-straight for the Lady Pirates over USCA dating back to 1999. 

Sophomore middle hitter Mandy Gerolstein, the reigning PBC Player of the Week, provided the only offensive punch on the night for the Lady Pacers recording a match-high 14 kills to go with five blocks and a pair of aces. The conference leader in hitting percentage boasted a .545 performance on the evening. 

Junior Laura Williams added eight kills and six blocks while Katie Baker chipped in seven kills. Senior setter Rachel Dalitz tallied a match-best 30 assists and five of the team's 14 service aces. As a team, USC Aiken out blocked AASU 11.0 to 10.0. 

Lauren Good led the Lady Pirates with 11 kills and two blocks hitting .360. Stacia McCoy registered 14 digs while setters Magaret Thornton and Stacy Yates combined for 47 assists and three aces. As a team, the PBC preseason favorite hit .157 highlighted by .200 in both games two and four. 

USC Aiken, who slips into a tie for third in the PBC standings, will play at Francis Marion on Tuesday, October 4 at 7:00 PM.
