Box Score AUGUSTA, Ga.--The USC Aiken Lady Pacers (16-14) picked an inopportune time to experience one of their most difficult days on the volleyball court on Friday night, falling in three games to top-seeded Armstrong Atlantic State (22-11) in the semifinal round of the 2005 Peach Belt Conference Tournament. Game scores were 30-18, 30-13, and 30-22. After advancing to the semifinals for the first time since 2001, USCA was swept 3-0 for just the third time this season. 

All-Conference middle hitter Mandy Gerolstein tallied a team-high seven kills but uncharacteristically hit -.053 to go along with two aces and one block. As a team, USC Aiken hit -.107 for the match, had just three aces to 11 service errors, and managed 2.0 team blocks. Not a single Lady Pacer hit above .000. 

Missy Deardorff recorded a match-best 14 digs while senior All-Conference setter Rachel Dalitz registered 17 assists and six digs in her final match as a Lady Pacer. 

Christina Flores paced the Lady Pirates with 10 kills and two aces. As a team, AASU hit .214 and totaled 9.0 blocks. 

Armstrong Atlantic State, the PBC's regular season champions, advance to Saturday afternoon's tournament finals after knocking off the Lady Pacers for the 18th straight time. 

USC Aiken closes out the season at 16-14 after finishing fourth in the PBC with a 7-5 mark. The team loses just one starter in Dalitz along with reserve libero Emily Beecher for next season.
