Box Score AIKEN, SC--USC Aiken scored 12 runs in the fifth inning to break a 2-2 tie and added two more in the sixth to beat visiting Milligan College, 16-2, tonight at J.H. Satcher Field in Aiken, S.C. All-American
Ashley Farr had an RBI double in his first at bat of the fifth inning. In his second at bat of the inning,
Farr homered, with the bases loaded, to straight away center field. The junior finished the night with three hits in four at bats, two runs scored and five RBIs.
USCA won for the sixth straight time and improved its overall record to 10-6. Milligan dropped to 5-3 in 2003 after losing to the Pacers for the second consecutive night.
Tony Hanks got the Pacers on the scoreboard with a solo home run in the bottom of the second inning.
Hanks went three-for-five on the night with two runs and two RBIs. USCA added another run in the fourth and took a 2-0 lead into the fifth.
A double by Milligan's David Rusaw in the top half of the fifth inning scored Scott Shealy and Jesse Dannemiller to tie the game at 2-2. Shealy was the only Buffalo to have more than one hit, he finished the game with three hits in five at bats.
Sixteen Pacers batted in the home half of the fifth inning. Right fielder
Clint Keown doubled and knocked in the first run of the inning with one out.

Jerod Summer started for USC Aiken for the second time this season. He pitched four innings allowed two runs, one earned run, six hits and struck out seven Milligan batters.

Gary McAlister and
Jamie Langford combined to hold the Buffaloes scoreless for the final five innings of the game.
Green picked up his first win of the season. The sophomore entered the game with a 16.20 ERA but pitched two scoreless innings and allowed just one hit while striking out three.
Jacob McAllister took the loss for Milligan College. He pitched four and a third innings, allowed eight hits, seven runs, seven earned runs and walked two batters.
USC Aiken will return to Peach Belt Conference play on Friday when the Pacers travel to Florence, S.C., for a weekend series with 21st ranked Francis Marion University. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m.
