A whole new adventure. That could best describe how University of South Carolina Aiken men’s tennis newcomer Antonio Sabugueiro’s career.

Cyndle McGuinness recently sat down with Sabugueiro to discuss several aspects of his life. The two talked about how and when he started playing tennis, about growing up and how he decided to attend USC Aiken.

Throughout the first part of his first year here, Sabugueiro has been a strong force for head coach Steve Dahm’s team. Sabugueiro is in the line-up for both singles and doubles action. In singles play, he sports a 7-2 overall record, with time mixed between the No. 1 and No. 2 slots.
