AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USCA Student-Athlete of the Week is volleyball standout Anna Sommer.

A native of St. Louis, Mo., Sommer guided the Pacers to a 2-0 week.

In the sweep of Georgia College, she had 10 kills while hitting .409. Sommer added two solo blocks and seven block assists. In the win at Lander, she posted seven kills while hitting .333. She accounted for three solo blocks and three block assists.

For the week, Sommer averaged for 2.83 kills per set.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USCA Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
