Courtney Strauss always knew she wanted to go to USC Aiken. Growing up just a few miles from campus, Strauss set her sights on being a Pacer at an early age.

After three solid years on the softball team, Strauss was asked to assist in reviving the women's cross country team prior to her senior year.

Strauss can be described as a pure athlete – one that can perform well in various sports.

Since joining the team, Strauss has been a solid runner and she recently notched a top-five finish at the USC Aiken Invitational.

She recently sat down with Alli Bell for the latest "A Closer Look" by Innovative Solutions – to discuss being a multi-sport student-athlete.
