During her first year with the team, she helped the program reach the NCAA Tournament while coaching two all-conference performers.

Yarbrough was a standout student-athlete for USC Aiken from 2016-2019. She was part of the program's first-ever Elite Eight (2016) as well as the school's longest winning streak for any sport (2017 - 21 matches) and the school's best start to a season by any sport (2019 - 16 wins). During her career, Yarbrough was limited in action due to injuries but continued to thrive both on and off the court.

Yarbrough saw time in 59 matches during her career. Yarbrough recorded a career-high 12 kills in the win over UNC Pembroke (Nov. 17, 2017). Her 13 points in that match also established a career high. Yarbrough accounted for a career-high 20 digs against West Alabama (Sept. 7, 2018).

As a senior, she hit .429 in the win over Flagler. Yarbrough tallied double-doubles in wins over UNC Pembroke (16 digs, 10 kills) and Lincoln Memorial (14 digs, 10 kills).

A two-time PBC Elite 15 award winner, Yarbrough also garnered all-academic team honors twice and academic all-district accolades once. During her career, she was named the Outstanding Senior Student (2020), the Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year (2019-20) and the Outstanding Student in Secondary Education (2018-19). Yarbrough won the Warrick Student-Athlete Leadership Award (2019-20) and was inducted in to the Robert E. Alexander Leadership Hall of Fame (2019-20). Additionally, she was a Teaching Fellow and a Chancellor's Ambassador.

Prior to her return to USC Aiken, Yarbrough was the head JV coach and assistant varsity coach at Aiken H.S. During her time on the sidelines, the team was undefeated in the Class 4-A en route to the region championship and was runner-ups in Lower State in 2020. In 2021, the team won the Lower State Championship and finished second in the state. In 2022, Yarbrough helped the program to the Upper State Championship and State Championship.

Yarbrough earned her degree in secondary education.
