Isaiah Campbell is in his first year as an assistant coach at USCA.

He comes to Aiken, S.C., after spending the last two years on Rob Lanier’s staff at SMU as the video coordinator. Prior to 2022, he was on the staff as a graduate assistant for three seasons at Georgia State.

Following his first season on the Hilltop, which included a runner-up finish at the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic, the Mustangs brought in a transfer class ranked as high as No. 42 nationally. In August of 2023, the Mustangs went on a 10-day trip to Spain, going 3-0 with games in Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona.

In his first three seasons at Georgia State, the Panthers went 53-30, winning the Sun Belt Tournament in 2022 and advancing to the NCAA Tournament. The team also made the Sun Belt Tournament Championship in 2021. Additionally, he led GSU to a victory over Georgia Tech, the program’s first win over an ACC opponent. The Panthers also claimed the 2019-20 2K Empire Classic Riverside Regional.
 
Prior to Georgia State, Campbell spent two seasons as a student assistant at Tennessee under the guidance of head coach Rick Barnes. During his time with the Volunteers, the program won the 2017-18 SEC Championship and reached the Sweet 16 a season later. During the 2018-19 campaign, UT was ranked No. 1 nationally for multiple weeks during the regular season.

Campbell’s role at Tennessee included assisting player development workouts assisting future NBA players: Grant Williams, Kyle Alexander, Admiral Schofield, Jordan Bowden and Jordan Bone.
 
A native of Knoxville, Tenn., Campbell played four years at Bearden H.S., graduating in 2014. He earned a basketball scholarship and played two years at Bryan College in Dayton, Tenn., before transferring to UT.
 
Campbell received his degree in Communications in May 2019 from the University of Tennessee.
