Jim Dziczkowski is in his sixth year as an assistant coach with the volleyball team at USC Aiken.

In 2022, he helped guide the Pacers to the NCAA Tournament as the No. 8 seed in the Southeast Region. Dziczkowski helped lead the squad to the PBC Tournament Championship match after knocking off No. 4 Georgia College & State and top-seeded Augusta. He coached all-PBC honorees Emily Lammers and Kari Mercer and all-tournament team selections Mallory Barash and Sadie McKay. 

Most recently, Dziczkowski was the head coach at Midland Valley H.S. for the previous 12 years. While there, he picked up Class 3-A Region IV co-Coach of the Year accolades in 2006. In 2017, he earned the honor outright. Dziczkowski was one of four SCAWS all-star South coaches in 2013.

He is a 2006 graduate of Findlay with a degree in biology education. While there, Dziczkowski played volleyball for the Oilers. He was a two-time MVP of the Nickel-City Invitational. In 2003, Dziczkowski led the nation in aces per game. For two seasons, he was in the top 10 nationally in aces and kills per game. Dziczkowski was a second-team all-Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association selection.

He is a two-time winner of the Men’s Open Clash Volleyball Tournament in Columbia, S.C. (2009 and 2013). Dziczkowski has won over 25 open-division titles and still competes competitively in indoor and outdoor tournaments throughout Georgia and South Carolina.  

He holds a pair of master’s degrees, with one in geoscience from Mississippi State and one in administration from Arkansas State.  

Dziczkowski resides in Aiken with his wife, Molly, and their children Annie and Matthew. In addition to being on the staff at USC Aiken, he also continues teaching AP chemistry at Midland Valley H.S.
