Wagener-Salley High School: As a senior at Wagener-Salley High School, Sharpe was selected to the all-region team, named co-player of the year in the region and played in the South Carolina North/South All-Star game...She played volleyball for two seasons and was a cheerleader for three seasons at Wagener-Salley...Sharpe’s father, Rodger Sharpe, played baseball at USC Aiken and played a season with the Minnesota Twins...Rodger Sharpe also served as an assistant to USCA Head Softball Coach Jerry Snyder...Sharpe’s biggest “thrill” as a player was getting to play in the 2002 North/South All-Star game.
