Biography
1997-98 Became USCA’s career leader in 3-pointers made with 107 in her 3-year career… Averaged 6.3 points and 2.3 boards as a junior… Ranked second on the team with 34 three-pointers… In PBAC she ranked tied for ninth with a 1.26 three-pointers per game average… Hit at least one 3-pointer in 15 different games… Scored double-figures in eight different games… Had her best game of the season in a win at Newberry College as she scored 20 points on six-of-nine three pointers and had five rebounds and two assists… Her six 3-pointers tied the USCA record for most in a game… Had 16 points (4-of-6 treys), five rebounds and two assists in a conference victory over Georgia College & State University… Notched 13 points, three rebounds, two steals and an assist at Clayton State… Had 13 points, four steals, two rebounds and two assists in the North Carolina Central Tournament vs. Barber-Scotia… Netted 12 points, five rebounds and one assist on 3-of-7 three pointers against Lander.
1996-97 Led the Lady Pacers with a .375 three-point field goal percentage and ranked fourth in the Peach Belt… For the season Ansbro was second on the team with a 8.9 points per game average… Against AASU she tied the USCA single game record for most 3-point field goals made with six… She also broke the season record for most 3-pointers made with 60 and broke the season record for best 3-point percentage… Scored a career high of 22 points at Augusta State… Netted 21 points at Morris College… She totaled 11 games with double-figures scoring and one double-double (11 points and 10 rebounds) against Lander… Hit at least one 3-pointer in all three games… Battled through a foot injury for the last half of the season.
1995-96 Finished third on the team with 15 three pointers for the season… Averaged 2.4 points and 1.7 rebounds… Scored 14 points (four treys) in a loss to Augusta College… Scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds against Clayton State.
BISHOP KEARNEY HIGH Senior year averaged 24 points, 10 rebounds and two assists, while being named All-City N.Y. Daily News… Named Best of the Borough N.Y. Newsday and MVP of team two years in a row… Averaged 15 points as a junior… Selected as honorable mention for the N.Y. Daily News and most improved player on Tigers team… Scored over 1,000 points in her high school career… Lettered in softball and volleyball… Named most improved and most valuable player in her volleyball career.
