Nkosi Gaddy is in his fourth year at USCA and his second year as the assistant women's basketball coach.

During his first year with the women’s program, Gaddy worked with the PBC Freshman of the Year Mackenna Nix as well as the PBC Defensive Player of the Year (Monique Emelifeonwu).

He spent the last two seasons as an assistant men's basketball coach. There, he worked with the program’s Division II career leader for points (Jalen McCoy), who earned all-region accolades. He was a key cog in the coaching staff’s first PBC Tournament Title since the 2013-14 campaign. Gaddy coached three student-athletes that earned honors by the PBC, including Defensive Player of the Year Simeon German. 

During the 2023-24 season, Gaddy was instrumental in the team’s PBC Regular-Season Championship and No. 1 seed in the PBC Tournament. He coached all-conference performers Tehree Horn, Tyler Johnson and McCoy. Johnson was named PBC Player of the Year.

Gaddy previously served as the assistant basketball coach at the Academy of Richmond County. During his coaching tenure, he led skill development during summer training sessions, led practice sessions, assisted with recruiting new players, counseled student-athletes, broke down film and set the framework for incoming freshmen.

In addition to his extensive basketball knowledge, Gaddy served in the U.S. Navy as a Cryptologic Technician (CTR).
