Played basketball and softball at Jefferson Davis Academy … Softball coach was Joey Lott … also a member of Beta Club … all-conference in basketball in 1988 and 1989 … earned all-conference honors in 1985, 86, 87, 88 and 89 … named to all-state team in 1988 and 919 … played for state championship teams in 1985 and 1989 … is studying physical education with plans to pursue career in coaching or physical therapy.
