2003: Appeared in only five games her freshman season but did make one start…Did not reach base in four at bats…Started at second base on March 10 against West Virginia Wesleyan College…Had one put out and one assist and did not make an error in the field.

Battery Creek High School: Played six years for the Lady Dolphins...Started varsity for four years...Played shortstop, second base and pitched for Battery Creek...Was a cheerleader for four years, earning the Captain’s Pin her senior year...Lather’s father Chuck was an outstanding baseball player for Army...Lather sites helping her school defeat Walterboro for the first time ever as her biggest softball accomplishment.
