2012 (Senior): Named to the 2012 Peach Belt Conference Softball All-Academic Team ... Led Pacers with nine multiple RBI games ... Claimed eight multiple RBI contests ... Finished year with one four RBI contest ... Denham was second on the team with a .328 batting average (44-for-134) ... Denham led the Pacers with 28 RBIs ... She was also first on the team in slugging percentage (.493) and on-base percentage (.374) ... Denham was tops among all Pacers with 15 extra-base knocks on 10 doubles, three triples and two home runs ... The 10 doubles and three triples led the Pacers ... Denham snagged a team-best 66 bases in 2012 ... Acquired team season-high 11-game hitting streak at one point during season.

2011 (Junior): Started all 44 games for the Pacers … Her .300 batting average was fourth best on the squad … Crossed the plate 19 times on the year which was third best on the team … Second on the team with 42 hits … Her 11 doubles on the year were tied for the team lead … Her four home runs led the team and her 24 RBIs were second best on the team … Tied for the team lead in total bases with 67 … Her 18 BB were second on the team. 

Daytona State College: Denham was named to the FCCAA Mid-Florida Conference Second-Team in 2010.

Palatka High School: In her prep career, she was named to the Sun’s Class 4A All-Area First-Team in 2008 ... She was a Third-Team All-State selection in 2007.

Personal: Kayla is the daughter of Timmy Denham and Alina Smith ... Born February 21, 1990 ... She is majoring in Exercise and Sports Science.
