1997: Named second team All- Region and was selected to the All-PBAC team... Ranked seventh in the PBAC with a .29 doubles per game average and seventh with a .33 stolen base per game average… Hit safely in 38 of the 51 games… Posted a 10-game hitting streak during the season… Best games vs. Newberry (4-4, 2 RUNS, 4 RBI, 3 Doubles), vs. Augusta State (4-4, 2 RUNS, SB) at Newberry (3-4, 2 RUNS, 3 RBI, 1 double, SB) and vs. Catawba (3-3 RUN, RBI, Triple)… Led the team with a .380 batting average and a .411on-base percentage while playing left field.  

Dunedin High: Injured during senior year… As a junior named first team All-Conference, second team All Suncoast and MVP… Batted .368 and stole a county record 33 bases under coach James Hill… Selected as first team All-County, All-Conference and Honorable Mention All Suncoast as a sophomore… Batted .486 and named best hitter on team… Also, lettered in cheerleader her junior and senior years. 

Personal: Amy Elizabeth Sobieraj was born on June 25, 1978… Daughter of John and Michelle Sobieraj… Planning on majoring in Business with a minor in Fine Arts.
