Biography

2004-05 (JUNIOR SEASON): Capped a magical season by winning the 2005 NCAA Individual Championship with a 72-hole total of five-under par 279...Won Outback Steakhouse Arnold Palmer Award for being the NCAA medalist... Named Jack Nicklaus Division II Player of the Year (both firsts in USCA golf history)...First-Team PING All-American...His stroke average of 71.74 is the best single season in the history of the program, becoming the only golfer in Pacer history to finish the season under-par...Along with teammate Scott Brown, selected as the Peach Belt Conference Co-Player of the Year...Voted to the All-Conference team and earned a spot on the PBC All-Tournament squad...Named to the NCAA South Atlantic All-Region team...Only PBC golfer named to the 27-member Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars list...Won two individual titles...An eight-under-par 205 at the 2005 PBC Championship earned him medalist honors over Brown by two strokes...Other title was of course the NCAA Championship...Finished in the top 20 in all 13 USCA events including finishing in the top 10 in 12 of them...Had three runner-up places...Tied for seventh with a three-under-par 213 at the 2005 Hall of Fame Invitational helping USCA to the billing of “surprise of the tournament” in the prestigious Division I event.

2003-04 (SOPHOMORE SEASON): Named honorable mention PING All-American... NCAA Southeast All-Region team...Earned All-Conference accolades as well as being named to the PBC All-Tournament list...Third on the team in stroke average at 74.59 playing in all 34 rounds for USC Aiken...Tied for the team lead with nine top 20 finishes including six inside the top 10...His eight-over-par 296 tied teammate Clint Smith for sixth place as the Pacers won their first NCAA Championship... Posted wins at the Outback Steakhouse Intercollegiate and the AASU/Southbridge Invitational.

2002-03 (FRESHMAN SEASON): Became USCA’s first ever PBC Freshman of the Year... Also named to NCAA All-Freshman Team...NCAA Southeast All-Region honoree...Third on team with 73.83 stroke average...Four top 20 finishes... First collegiate win came at the Carolina Sands.

SOUTH AIKEN HIGH SCHOOL: Led Thoroughbreds to back-to-back 4A State Titles in 2000 and 2001...Teammates with Kevin Kisner, Alex Hamilton, and Matt Hendrix.
