Biography

William started 30 of 35 games for the Pacers in 1987-88. He averaged 14.3 points per game and 5 rebounds while shooting 52 percent from the field. He is an explosive scorer and will be counted on to give the Pacers outside scoring as well as leadership. William had a career high of 36 points last season vs. Voorhees.

As a freshman in high school William played for Coach Wayne Flowers. Coach DeHart’s assistant at USC-Lancaster. Even then the young man was an honor student with a tremendous desire to succeed at whatever he attempted. It didn’t take long for DeHart to recognize a college prospect and to make sure that William knew that he had a place to go to school when the time came. The all-conference basketball player and state high jump champion from Lancaster High is now another member of the Sophomore class that DeHart feels will bring glory back to USCA basketball. After seven games William is averaging 16 points and five rebounds.
