Biography

2002-03 (JUNIOR SEASON): Saw action in 11 games in his first season as a Pacer...Averaged 0.4 points per game and 4.1 minutes per contest...Totaled three assists and one steal...Connected on one of his eight shots (12.5 percent) from the field and two of his four free throw attempts...Missed on all four of his three-point attempts...Played a total of 45 minutes during the 2002-03 season...In two minutes of play against NCAA Division I College of Charleston, on December 7, Valaitis scored for the first time as a member of the USC Aiken basketball team by hitting his only shot attempt of the night...Scored his only other points on the season with two free throws in a 76-70 loss at the University of North Florida on February 5...Played a season high 17 minutes on January 18 at USC Spartanburg.

PATTEN COLLEGE: Averaged 12.0 points and 3.0 rebounds as member of the Patten College Lions squad... Competed in the California Pacific Conference of the NAIA.

CHRISTIAN CENTRAL ACADEMY: Valaitis led the Christian Central Academy Crusaders to the New York State Championship in 1998...Earned First-Team All-Conference honors for head coach Tom Staebel...Also played midfield on the school’s soccer team...Earned an academic scholarship to attend USCA.
