2008 (Junior): Played in 56 games, starting 37...The Pacers were 41-5 in games in which he started in the field... He concluded the year with a .333 batting average...He collected a total of 55 hits, which included 12 extra-base hits...He had seven doubles, two triples and three home runs...He acquired 75 total bases and obtained 30 RBIs...Salmon was sixth on the team with 18 multiple hit games...He was fifth on the team with nine multiple RBI games...Second on the team with 10 stolen bases...He was 4-for-5 from the dish with three RBIs and three runs scored in 16-9 victory over Brevard on Feb. 19.

2007 (Sophomore): Played in 14 games in his first season with the Pacers...Tied for third on the team in batting average among players with less than 150 at bats...Went 1-for-2 in his only start of the year, on opening weekend against Lincoln Memorial...Tied for second on the squad in pinch-hitting at bats, going 3-for-8 for a .375 average...Had pinch-hit singles against Lander, Chowan, and Pfeiffer...Scored his first run and drove in his first RBI in an April 7 win over Augusta State.

Florence Darlington Tech: Led the South Carolina junior college to the Region 10 Conference Championship...Member of the Winterpark Diamond Dawgs summer league team.

South Aiken High School: Received All-Area acclaim as a senior for the Thoroughbreds...Four-year member of the football team and three-year basketball player...Drafted in 26th round of the 2005 MLB Draft by the Cincinnati Reds.
