Biography

Rick played his high school ball at Gabriel Richard in Riverview (MI) under Pat Szejputowski where he earned all-Area, all-Region and team MVP honors. He is a Sports Management major. Lenny Dykstra is his favorite athlete because of his hard-nosed style of play. His favorite movie is Slap Shot and his favorite TV show is Home Improvement. DeSana hit .316 in 1995, which was second on the team. He also drove home 26 runs and stole 11 bases in 15 attempts.
