2006 (Junior): Pacers’ ace of the staff turned in a career year with a 9-6 record, a 2.79 ERA, and 86 strikeouts in 116.0 innings pitched...Finished second in the PBC in innings pitched, fourth in strikeouts, and sixth in both wins and ERA...Earned Peach Belt Conference All-Tournament honors after tossing a complete game gem against #15 Columbus State in the opening round... In posting his first career shutout, Rucker allowed just four hits, fanning nine and walking one in the 3-0 victory...Recorded wins over #2 Catawba, UNC Pembroke, Augusta State, and Lander.

2005 (Sophomore): Served as Pacers’ number two weekend starter...Second on the team in ERA (among starters) and in strikeouts...Ranked in the PBC in innings pitched (6th), strikeouts (T-11th), games started (T-5th), and fewest walks allowed (7th)... Notched wins over #27 Columbus State, #25 Catawba, Martin Methodist, Augusta State, Lander, and #8 Francis Marion...In the Pacers’ 5-2 NCAA Tournament win over FMU, tossed complete game win, striking out seven, allowing one walk and five hits.

2004 (Freshman): Fifth on the team with a 3.80 ERA...His 21 appearances was second only to Nick Wandless with 24... Notched first win in second career appearance...Held Lincoln Memorial to one run on four hits over 5.1 innings of long relief on Feb. 7 in the 6-4 victory.

White Knoll High School: Three-time All-Area, All-Region, and Best Defensive Player selection... Posted a 6-2 mark on the mound with a 1.10 ERA as a senior for the Timberwolves... Combined 22-7 record in three seasons.

Personal: Robert Peden Rucker is the son of Mark Rucker...He is majoring in Early Childhood Education.
