1999: Started all 12 games he appeared in for the pacers… Second on the team in earned run average… Tied for the team lead in complete games with five… Pitched in a team-high 85.2 innings… Second on staff in strike outs with 64… Allowed only five stolen bases while on the mound… Best outing came at home against USC Spartanburg on February 13 when he threw a nine-hit, two run complete game win over the Rifles.
 
1998: Came off the bench against Presbyterian College and went 1-for-1 with a run batted in… Went 1-for-3 with one double and one run scored against Catawba College… Made his first appearance on the mound at Erskine College and went three innings with two earned runs and four strike outs… Earned a win against Wingate University with two strike outs in 6.1 innings.
 
MIDLAND VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL: Named all-area and all-region while batting .353 and posting a 1.80 earned run average his senior year… Named all-area and all-region his junior year… Batted .325 with a 1.50 earned run average as a sophomore… Graduated with honors.
