1998: Hit .358 for the season, which ranked third on the team… Had a 17 game hitting streak during the season… Hit safely in 22 of the final 23 games of the season… Posted 14 games with multi-hits…Best games of the season were vs. Carson-Newman (4-5, three runs, two RBI, two doubles), vs. Lander (3-3, two runs, double, walk), in two games vs. Francis Marion (5-7, three runs, four RBI, two walks, stolen base) and in three games vs. Columbus State (6-14, three runs, two RBI, stolen base).
1997: Was promoted from the J.V. team on Feb. 13 and earned a spot in left field as he started 34 of the 36 games played… Named 1997 team M.V.P… Best games vs. Augusta State (3-3, RUN, 3 RBI, double, triple, BB), vs. Erskine (3-3, 2 RUNS, double, BB), vs. Erskine ( 3-4, 2 RBI), vs. Barton (2-3, 3 RUNS, 2 RBI, 2 BB), vs. Newberry (2-4, RUN, RBI) and vs. UNC Pembroke (2-5,2 RUNS)… Posted nine multi-hit games and hit safely in 24 out of the 36 games played… Had a seven-game hitting streak.
