2008 (Freshman): Saw action in 23 games, starting four...The Pacers were a perfect 4-0 in the four games he started...Collected two RBIs and hit .143...Scored 10 runs...Acquired first hit in 11-8 win over North Greenville on Feb. 28.

Lexington High School: Batted .351 with 22 stolen bases for the Wildcats and head coach Tommy Mishoe...Earned AllRegion recognition...Lists his biggest thrill as a baseball player to date as playing in, and winning, a 14-inning game against Byrnes High School to advance to the District Championship.

Personal: Joshua Burton Attaway is the son of Bill and Lori Attaway...He is undecided on a major.
