Biography

Jimmy played his high school ball at Dobyns-Bennett (TN) under coach Mike Ritz where he was twice all-Conference, twice all-East Tennessee and a first team all-State selection as a senior. In Junior College, McLain was first team all-Tennessee Junior College and first team all-Region VII as well as team MVP. He is a Math/Computer Science major who hopes to play baseball professionally and someday coach. McLain says if he weren’t playing college baseball, he’d be playing football and lifting weights constantly. Last year in Junior College, McLain belted 19 homeruns.
