Participated in football and baseball at Griffin High School…was coached by Ron Wojoicki in baseball…earned all-city honors in both spots…played baseball under Claude Kracik at Lincoln Land (IL) C.C….was 6-0 with one save for USC Aiken in 1990…earned victories over Rollins College and Columbus College, both ranked in top twenty in NCAA Division II…struck out personal-best 7 vs. USC Spartanburg.
