among freshmen at 3.74...His 21.2 innings pitched was also a
top total for freshmen pitchers...Notched victories in both his
decisions, both coming against North Greenville...Turned in 10
scoreless outings...Worked 2.1 innings of perfect baseball on
April 1 against #12 Columbus State.
Chesterfield High School: Two-time All-State and three-time
All-Region selection...Led the state of South Carolina in strikeouts
in 2005 with 135...Issued just six walks in posting a 1.40
ERA and a 10-1 record on the mound...As a junior, went 9-2 with
92 strikeouts to just nine walks...Had a 1.80 ERA.
